Mushrooms are made of a fibrous substance called Chitin, which is indigestible to humans. In order for us to benefit from their medicinal properties, the Chitin cell wall needs to be broken down.
Traditional extraction requires heating medicinal mushrooms in a liquid solvent for long periods of time. Many of their beneficial compounds are heat sensitive, so become denatured as a result.
We use Ultrasonic Assisted Extraction (UAE), which draws out high levels of these compounds at low temperatures. High-frequency sound waves create high-pressure bubbles in liquid, which collapse rapidly, generating intense pressure that breaks the Chitin cell wall and releases the medicinal compounds.
Using UAE, we are able to create a full-spectrum extract that is bio-available, ensuring that you get the maximum health benefits from every extract.
We use Miron 'Violet Glass' bottles to contain our extracts.
The unique glass works by filtering out degrading and harmful light and allowing in beneficial light waves. The infrared, ultraviolet and violet lights that can enter the bottle help to prolong the shelf life and efficacy of the extracts.
